Dave Murray

Dave Murray

Dave has a long-established track record in improving the profitability of organisations in a wide variety of business sectors including Food, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Power and Security.

Since gaining his initial training and experience at BAE Systems, Dave has operated at all levels within the management spectrum including a period as Divisional Managing Director of a £135M business cluster in the Print Industry.

Dave’s international credentials are also noteworthy. Having successfully completed assignments in Continental Europe and North America, his ability to deliver results for clients in areas where cross-border cultural barriers can often because problems is well-established.

While Dave has an MBA from Cranfield University, an MSc from Salford University and is a ‘Black Belt’ in Lean Manufacturing, his primary goal is to deliver sustainable change in organisations through their people using a non-academic, pragmatic style that takes them along the road of improvement.

Born in Manchester and a lifelong Manchester City fan, Dave is well used to riding the rollercoaster of life and business – and on that ride he’s acquired all the skills and experience required to help clients in just about any sector, in just about any market to improve their business performance.

Kay Johnson

Kay Johnson

Kay is a human resources generalist with over 25 years’ experience gained within the manufacturing sector, working for leading brand names such as Müller Dairy and Weetabix. She also spent 10 years working at BAe Systems, across several their sites.

After graduating Kay completed a post graduate diploma in Employee Relations and more recently a post graduate Diploma in Business Engineering Management from Warwick University.

Kay has been an HR consultant since 2007 and enjoys the challenge of providing pro-active HR solutions in demanding and changing environments.

Michael Williams

Michael Williams

Michael has a track record of executing tailored Strategic & Operational plans which deliver sustainable growth, increased profitability and accelerated cash generation.

His background knowledge and expertise has been gained from working for Blue Chip Companies such as Lucas, TRW, Goodrich and Rolls-Royce across the Manufacturing and Customer Service sectors.

Michael has held various Senior Executive positions including full P&L accountable General Management roles both in the UK & France and was responsible globally, as VP Customer Service TRW Aeronautical Systems, for $500k Aftermarket Sales across 13 Repair Bases and 4 Spares outlets.

He is French speaking with significant Pan European Project management experience and has held truly global Functional roles such as EVP Manufacturing Improvement for Rolls-Royce across the Civil & Defence Aerospace and Marine & Energy sectors.

Michael has a degree in Maths, Stats & Computing, and MSc in Manufacturing Management and is a Lean/Six Sigma Practitioner with a pedigree of Change Management.

He is an inspiring & motivating Director who has successfully transposed his skills from a Corporate background to the Private Equity funded Business Turnaround market.

Roman Sucharzewski

Roman Sucharzewski

Roman has spent twenty years in business development. Having started in advertising sales for an international newspaper group he has subsequently held Group Sales and Marketing Director and General Manager roles in the data, branding and leisure arenas.

Roman holds the adage that business development is a consultative process about understanding the customers’ needs and fulfilling their true requirements. An ethos that has been instilled into the number of sales teams (field and call centre) and customer delivery teams that he has managed, trained and developed.

Roman’s easy manner belies his vast experience and natural ability to break down often complex issues into more simple subjects, whilst offering a variety of immensely practical and workable solutions.

Dr Martin Clocherty

Dr Martin Clocherty is a multi-award winning lean practitioner and lecturer, who has operated across the globe in countries such as, Japan, China, India, North America and Europe for both Motorola and The Hayward Tyler Group, delivering innovative industry 4.0 business growth and revenue generating improvement projects. Martin’s career started at Motorola who were Scotland’s largest private employer where he focused upon the high-level management of Motorola’s semi-conductor wafer fabrication and mobile phone facilities in Scotland and Japan. Martin further enhanced his knowledge by moving into heavy engineering with Hayward Tyler whose core business concentrated on delivering bespoke energy solutions for the Oil & Gas, Power, Nuclear and Sub-sea industries holding such positions as General Manager, Group Continuous Improvement Director and Group Chief Information Officer.

Martin is a well renowned industry 4.0. leader and winner of the UK Smart Factory of the Year award in 2016 and he utilises his vast range of knowledge to deliver innovative business improvement solutions to a broad spectrum of industries and has a diverse client and alliance partner base.

Martin is now the sole Director of New Intelligence Consultancy, a business improvement consultancy business and alliance partner of Clive Whitegate.

Morgan Knapton

Morgan Knapton

Morgan Knapton has over a decade and a half of lean manufacturing and engineering experience in diversified markets across the globe. Morgan has developed and implemented tailored lean business solutions to companies on 4 continents for a range of industries.

Prior to university, Morgan was trained and certified in Nuclear grade welding, fabrication and design, where he gained a unique perspective on engineering and manufacturing. At university, he received dual degrees in Physics & Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. He went on to earn his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and completed projects in the Power, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Sub-sea and Food industries. Morgan utilises hands on expertise, data-backed decision making and World Class business systems to implement cost and lead time reductions while increasing quality.

Morgan is at the forefront of Industry 4.0 innovation and works with a core team of I4.0 specialists. Recently, he and his teammates have won top industry awards in this field, including the 2016 UK Smart Factory of the Year award and 2017 recipients of the Operational Research Society’s President’s Medal.

Morgan is now the President and Owner of Knapton Solutions LLC, headquartered in New England in the US, who partner with Clive Whitegate on business improvement projects.
